Cassandra Clare x Sips by

During my time at Sips by, a tea start up, I launched a partnership program that created custom tea boxes based on upcoming novels by authors like Cassandra Clare, Debbie Macomber, and James Patterson, delighting diehard fans and driving physical book sales. I helped to create custom marketing collateral to include in the boxes like maps and character trading cards and promoted the products through a network of Bookstagrammers and other influencers. I love to think outside of the box in order to create delightful experiences for readers and build strong brands for authors.


Kindle Romance Delivers

At Amazon, I helped to launch Kindle Romance Delivers, a first of its kind affinity marketing email newsletter sharing recommendations, reviews, and interviews with one million romance readers. I worked on content strategy for the newsletter, selected the Best Books of the Month in Romance, and interviewed authors like Sylvia Day and Jill Shalvis, garnering hundreds of thousands of pageviews and driving book sales.

WRITING

As a writer, my boundless curiosity and passion for research have led me to write about topics from pizza to romance novels to the Alamo (really), and to create charming, pun-filled copy for all types of brands. With an ability to synthesize complex information into digestible narratives, my writing strikes a balance between entertainment and information.
